Over Spring Break GParadigm our youth church joined forces with ‘The Refuge’, the youth church of Tri County Worship Center. We went on our Super Hero Retreat, a United Summit, with the goal of becoming superheroes for God and His Kingdom City. Uniting our ’superpowers’ which He has given us and building on the common foundation of His love.
We went to Tumalo Park and camped there with most of our days spent at the Smith Rock State Park. We had small group time, went on hikes, rock climbed, and had great worship and prayer times. Team building games and quiet times with God really built our closeness as a group. In the evenings we had campfire time of worship, prayer and teaching. All said, it was an absolutely amazing five days, we really felt God’s presence. We came home ready to walk out the love we had learned about and the commitments we had made and strengthen the new friendships we’d formed. We found the beautiful unity that we can have under God’s leadership, love and kingdom!
